This team focuses on the harnessing lasers to optimise fibreoptics and cloud servers powering the internet. Think of all of the millions of transceivers that exist in telco networks and data centers globally. This is the market with clients that include Intel, Facebook, Google and Cisco and NASA using their products. The role of Test Automation Engineer is to work closely with Manufacturing, NPI and RnD teams to ensure a high standard of new products and their smooth functionality in the Manufacturing stage. In this position you will be working as a technical automation engineer within the manufacturing team to support ongoing manufacturing activities and resolve any issues when those arise. You will be closely working with the testing team, identifying areas of improving the existing calibration script to be more robust.

**The fit**:
- Develop and configure test automation calibration of the products for both existing and new products.
- Develop and execute test automation through Python and hardware and software test tools.
- Build and maintain electrical and fiber optic test and calibration setups or test stations.
- Analyse and prepare product requirements and specifications for the Testing Team.
- Identify and provide feedback and recommendations for the product, calibration setup and specification improvements.
They will also have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mechatronics, Photonics, or Optoelectronics.
