We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join and support our team based in Tauranga. This is a key role for our region, as you will set the direction and oversee the daily management, development and delivery of our newly won contracts.

This role offers diversity, challenge, and an ability to make your mark. The position will require you to demonstrate a commitment to health and safety in the workplace, plus take a high level of initiative.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Management of project team, subcontractors and local labour crew
- Adherence to company safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures
- Ensure all plant is maintained regarding the suitability, safety, operating condition and cost-effectiveness
- Ensuring all deadlines are met
- Manage key stakeholder engagement

**Skills and experience that will ensure your success**:

- Relevant engineering degree
- Strong experience in Water or Roading projects
- Computer literacy including Microsoft excel and data collection software
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- An ability to achieve team results
