As an organisation responsible for improving the lives of everyone in our community, the role of a Recruitment Partner plays an integral role in ensuring the organisation recruits the best people to achieve everything for the City.

Reporting to the Manager Recruitment, you will work with a bunch of experienced and dedicated professionals who value teamwork, communication and having a good laugh.

As a Recruitment Partner, you will work alongside a diverse portfolio of leaders, providing them with solutions that deliver the best possible recruitment outcomes. You will empower your hiring managers by helping them understand the recruitment lifecycle, supporting them through the process and ensuring the decisions they make are the best ones.

We get involved in taking job briefs, advert writing, running assessment centres, arranging and conducting interviews and the delivery of training courses as well as providing advice on a number of matters. We can guarantee a varied workload where you will have the autonomy and freedom to determine what our day looks like.

While having experience in recruitment would be great, as long as you have awesome people skills and are solutions focussed, the recruitment stuff we can teach.

- Location_ - This position is primarily based at our Civic offices, 53 Hereford Street

Whilst staff working at the Christchurch City Council are not currently required to be vaccinated, applicants need to be aware that should the COVID-19 environment change, roles across the organisation will be assessed, and the requirement to be vaccinated may be reviewed.
