We are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term basis to support the high-volume recruitment needs across the Recreation, Sport and Events unit.

You'll be part of a team where your work directly supports the delivery of recreation and sport experiences to our communities across Ōtautahi Christchurch, as we prepare for the exciting opening of Parakiore Recreation and Sport Centre.

**About the role | Ko te mahi nei**

In this role, you'll work closely to support the Recruitment Partner to provide essential support across the entire recruitment process. What you'll be doing:

- Providing general support to the Recruitment Partner (placing ads, screening applicants, reference checking).
- Managing the recruitment inbox, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries and ensuring that messages are responded to or passed to the relevant parties
- Coordinating and organising interviews and supporting hiring managers to keep the process running smoothly
- Supporting info evenings, assessment centres, and community-focused careers events

**About you | Ko Koe Tēnei**

To be successful in this role, you have:

- Experience in recruitment administration or coordination, ideally in a high-volume environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Be a team player who can pitch in, have a laugh, and support the team to get the job done
