Electrical Trade Assistants

Auckland City, New Zealand Sunz Engineering Ltd Full time

Minimum 30 Hours per week
- Work in coordination with the electrical team, where sufficient electrical knowledge is necessary.
- Install Primary Cable ladder/supports, Pull cables, and plan the cable routes, Install Switch rooms, junction boxes and cable glands.
- Can design and read plans for solar design installation
- Respect of HSE and Quality procedures and practices.
- Monitor and control electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures.
- Order the required quantity of materials/stock in order to maintain work continuity.
- Ensure that work activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and practices.
- Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipment.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

- 1 year of experience in the Industrial Electrical sector or equivalent NZ Register Level 1 qualification, or compulsory secondary education (ANZSCO Skill Level 5)
- Must be willing to register as an Apprentice to ensure upskill potential.

Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, and if successful will need to meet pre-employment screening requirements, including drug and alcohol testing, reference checks and a pre-employment medical assessment.

**Salary**: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour
