We work on a variety of Large-Scale Infrastructure projects including Data & Communications, Retirement Villages and NewCommercial Fit-outs, and old home renovation. What we offer you:

- Annual leave, Kiwi saver, Sick leave
- Full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours
- Though our main base is in Auckland but you will be required to travel around differentregions.
- We will offer you PPE Equipment
- Appropriate training will be provided.
- We will provide you with accommodation if are required to stay overnight in any other regionapart from Auckland.

The Electrical Trades Assistant is responsible for:

- View electrical and data layouts to determine the appropriate system and ensure complianceto electrical and fire codes
- Install and test the system as per the instruction given or requirement of the customer as percompliance if working independently.
- Responsible for repairing any problems with the electrical wiring and fit outs and replacingdefective parts
- Work within guidelines set by Leading Hand, Supervisor, or Manager to ensure are installedand electrical wiring and fit outs,
- Monitor progress of all work and, when required, communicate any delays or problems toLeading Hand, Supervisor, or Manager
- Carry out quality work in the area of responsibility in accordance with all policies andprocedures.
- Ensure full understanding of safety objectives and policies and request advice or opinionwhen required
- Participate as a member of the team
- All other duties as assigned

What we need from you:

- Relevant 6 months experience as an Electrician or Electrical Trade Assistant or Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Electrical trade in New Zealand or overseas.
- Desire to work and up-skill
- Ability to learn and pass knowledge to others
- Reliability and Punctuality is essential
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Time management skills
- Flexibility to work longer hours or shifts
- Flexibility to work on weekends.
