We are the Catholic Bishops' agency for justice, peace and development. We are looking for a Communications Assistant to join our team here in the Caritas Office in Wellington. This role supports our communications with donors, parishes, schools and tangata whenua communities. You will:

- Assist in the development of website content and digital communications channels, including the use of photography and video content.
- Assist with the development of digital and print newsletters and learn how to use and maintain the Vega database for distribution of communications to specific audiences.
- Assist the Communications Advisor to maintain the Caritas website to ensure that it is relevant, current, and well utilised by new and existing Caritas stakeholders.
- Support the design and layout of communication material and collateral.
- Monitor and stay abreast of trends in social media and contribute to the development of Caritas' social media work.
- Track impact and effectiveness of Caritas communications through agreed measurables.
