**Specific deliverables expected by end of internship**
- Transform legacy infrastructure into modern Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK for the GeoMarks API
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines that automate deployment workflows
- Collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams on real production systems
- Directly contribute to the technology that powers New Zealand's survey control and geodetic systems

- Currently studying Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript, especially TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing services (AWS preferred, but any cloud counts)
- Comfortable with Git and version control workflows
- Eager to learn, open to feedback, and ready to level up your skills
- Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative team environments

**Desirable**
- Python or Bash scripting experience
- Genuine interest in geospatial domains (Geodesy, GIS, Surveying)-or curiosity to learn
- Passion for infrastructure automation and making systems run smoothly
