**About the Organisation**:
This company is at the forefront of reducing organised retail crime across Australasia, North America, and have partnered with leading organisations across these regions. They originated in New Zealand and now have over 100 people across the organisation with 70 within NZ. They are a passionate team, reshaping the way that retailers can better tackle the problem of organised retail crime, which is a $100 billion globally.
**About the role**:
The role is newly created and forms a part of their Engineering team. Currently they want to use their real-time data to solve their smart features at scale, this can be done through machine learning and advanced statistical methods. You will have full autonomy in creating Machine Learning models from end-to-end. You will be creating and improving ML algorithms and working across different data sources.
**About YOU**
- Advanced statistical programming skills (SQL, Python, R)
- Extensive knowledge of building and deploying machine learning models
- Deep learning techniques
- Knowledge of the cloud environment
- Understanding of ETL processes
- Source control experience (Git, Github, Azure Devops)
- Qualification in Statistics or Computer Science
