Our business is people, People&co are search and recruitment specialists helping individuals and teams be the best they can be. We are a small team with a great friendly working environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring our contractors are paid and assists our Finance Manager manage the daily activities in Xero that keep our business humming.

Key responsibilities include;
- looking after and paying our contractors - we use an on-line time and billing system
- processing and paying creditors
- invoicing clients and following up unpaid invoices
- preparing quarterly reports for government in excel
- coordinating weekly financial forecasts so we can keep our eye on the ball.

There will be opportunities for growth as you make this role your own. Full training will be provided. This is a role that will provide core accounting administration for our business as well as being the go-to person for our contractors and consultants. To thrive, you should enjoy using spreadsheets, have a head for numbers and a warm and engaging personality as you deal with both contractors and staff. We like to live our values of being:

You will need to have a good working knowledge of Excel and great attention to detail. Experience with Xero and Invoxy would also be useful but not essential.
