Christchurch. It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per
week, and we are looking for someone whom we can rely on.

- **Must hold LCQ and Manager’s License to manage a high-performing team**
- Run smooth operations of the restaurant. Juggling great service, training and
rostering your team, planning for future growth, is all in a day’s work
- Must be able to plan the menus to be served in the restaurant in consultation with
the chefs.
- Organize events and functions, make proper plans and arrangements for the
gathering
- Manage purchases and pricing with the suppliers and carefully prepare a budget
for optimal profit
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels
- Manage financial transactions of the restaurants and maintain good record
- keeping
- Having discussions with the customers to assess if the customers are satisfied
with the meals and services provided
- Value customer feedback and develop strategies for continuous improvements
- Assuring that the dining facilities meet the health and safety regulations
- Ensure that everything is clean, functional and of suitable/presentable
appearance.
- Select and train the waiting and kitchen staff along with supervising the staff.
- May be required to take the reservations/bookings.
- Must greet the guests and assist them in taking orders when required.

**Required skills**:

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrate leadership in managing staff groups and major events
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the willingness to be a team player
- Commitment to get the job done
- Minimum Level 5 qualification OR two years of relevant work experience
