**About the role**
The role of Data Analyst II consists of developing BI solutions for key areas of Rocket Lab and working collaboratively within the BI team to build a resilient data platform. Analysis of data and Information provisioning is provided to all functional areas throughout Rocket Lab to improve efficiencies and decision making. Through providing data in structured and ad hoc formats the Data Analyst II will be closely engaged with functional teams to improve productivity using systemised approaches.

Supporting the development of Business Intelligence standards and technology platform through working closely with IT and Software is an important part of the Data Analyst’s responsibilities.

The Data Analyst role requires the person to work collaboratively across the Rocket Lab business whilst having a structured approach to data analysis disciplines. Key attributes required also include being able to move at pace and having strong analytical skills whilst understanding and delivering a systematic approach to data modelling and reporting.

**Essential skills**
- Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
- Process Improvement or Project Engineering experience
- Finance, Manufacturing or Supply Chain knowledge and experience
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
