**General Summary**:
The Commercial Scheduler role is to work within the Commercial Operations team to ensure that the playlist is maximised to its full potential, from an on-air look to a commercial strategy to increase revenue.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare daily logs for transmission.
- Maintain break structures and ratecard within BTS.
- Oversee channel log requirements.
- Manage late amendments from Content to commercial changes.
- Ensure Industry codes are adhered to.
- Sponsorship management from Integration.
- Liaise with Content/ TTops and Broadcast Ops to ensure workflow is smooth.
- On call duties on a rotational basis.
- The Employee shall ensure they are familiar with the Employer's policies and procedures, and any modifications to those policies and procedures that may be introduced from time to time.
- Carry out your work safely and without endangering or causing harm to yourself, fellow staff members, contractors, customers, visitors, or the general public.
- Other duties as required.
- The Company may, after fair and reasonable consultation, change your duties, from time to time, for commercial reasons but not so as to substantially change the nature of the position.

**Qualities & experience required**:

- Experience in Broadcasting role (either Comms Ops/ Traffic Ops preferred).
- Possesses a detailed understanding of NZ Broadcast environment.
- An understanding of all channels across the WBD portfolio, and the individual requirements of each play out area.
- Highly numerate with complex trading models across multiple media platforms.
- Experience and understanding of the dynamics of the media industry with deep domain knowledge of TV pricing, trading and revenue generation.
- Experience working in a rapidly changing market environment where technology and innovation are critical to success and growth.
- Outstanding strategic and analytical skills.
- Demonstrable experience in complex trading strategies.
- Demonstrable decision-making capabilities in a data led environment.
- The ability to interpret complex information and communicate clear recommendations.
- The ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter who can work collaboratively with other teams.
- Accuracy and outstanding attention to detail
- Media experience, experience across TV platforms will be highly valued.
