We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our high performing Sales team as an **Account Manager** based in **Wellington** to ensure our customers’ businesses have continued high level of support.
Someone who enjoys solving problems with strong organisation and communication skills with a willingness to learn is a must. Applicants from other careers with transferable skill such as commercial acumen, building strong relationship with customers, strategic thinking, planning and process skills, will also be considered for this position. Ongoing training and development are provided.
**About the Role**:
You will oversee and drive sales for a portfolio of customers across the area. Researching and planning for every customer interaction whether it is on the phone, via virtual meeting or face to face to understand your customer needs and finding solutions.
You will work closely with your Area Sales Manager as well as the rest of the NZ Safety Blackwoods team to ensure sales targets are met - assisting in the continual growth of our business.
- Excellent organisation skills as we operate in a highly structured environment
- Must have analytical skills to research and use reporting tools for call planning
- Active listener and ability to adapt your communication style
- Will be energetic and results driven
- A proven track record of B2B sales is preferred but not essential
