DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Key Account Manager, Air & Sea in Wellington.

The main focus of this role is to retain, manage and develop key accounts as assigned by the Manager. Identify opportunities for business growth within (but not limited to) the assigned accounts, manage & build relationships, account development and business development and contribute to the overall profitability of DSV.

**Your typical day at DSV**:

- Retain existing markets (trade lanes) with all existing customers in the assigned portfolio.
- Develop personalized Account Plans for each customer focusing on understanding their business and requirements intimately, addressing concerns promptly, iand identifying any opportunities to ensure maximization of all business offerings.
- Develop a call cycle to ensure every customer has set Monthly and or Quarterly Businesss Review meetings. Business Review meetings must be scheduled formally, with an agenda and meeting minutes captured in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).
- Identify and pursue new opportunities from your existing KAM portfolio, house accounts or New Business logos to deliver new business growth managed in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).
- Enter customer and call activity into Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) - Create quotations in CargoWise One or via customer templates.
- Increase volume/profit with assigned key accounts - Develop strong relationships with key accounts.
- Provide exceptional quality service and solutions to key customers for all their logistics needs, provide rates, quotes, costing’s, proposals, solutions, continuous improvement iniatives and corrective action plans for any service failures.

**About you**:

- At least five years experience in international freight forwarding & logistics, Customer service and Key Account Management.
- Experience in managing and developing key accounts and have at least 2 years of inside or outside sales experience.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Skilled in developing tailored account plans to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives.
- Adept at identifying client needs and providing customized solutions to address their challenges, ensuring successful outcomes.
