Silver Fern Farms Rotorua have an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about implementing and maintaining sound Health and Safety processes and systems.
Available on a two-year fixed term basis covering internal movement - don’t miss this great learning opportunity
You will lead all facets of Health and Safety processes, including incident investigation, administration of Health and Safety systems and reporting to site management. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to drive change.
This role is critical in in ensuring the site’s health and safety procedures are compliant with current health and safety legislation whilst providing guidance in the area of health and wellbeing for all staff at Silver Fern Farms, Rotorua.
- Level 4 H&S certificate or diploma would be advantageous, or the desire to study towards a H&S related qualification
- A passion for creating a healthy and safe environment for people
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy - proficiency in the use of Microsoft (Word, Excel), databases and systems
- Ability to think on your feet, work independently and have a willingness to learn
- Proven ability in Continuous Improvement
- No prior experience required, however this would be advantageous
