**About this role**
Are you an aspiring health and safety professional with a passion for employee well-being?
As Safety and Wellbeing Co-ordinator you will lead the delivery of Council's employee wellbeing programme, 'Workwell'- an initiative which supports workplaces to 'work better through wellbeing - Ma Mahi-Totika e Mauri Ora ai'. Working collaboratively with our wellness committee, you will play an integral role in facilitating positive change and a healthier, happier workplace by developing and implementing wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
The other key focus area of this role is providing a high level of health and safety administrative support and co-ordination, from liaising with our occupational health providers about employee health checks, to ensuring the integrity of data in Council's health and safety system, and everything in between Full training and support will be provided to support you in coming up to speed with Council's health and safety systems and processes.
