**About the role**:
In your new role as Account Manager, you will work in a technical sales, service, and consultancy capacity, responsible for providing Ecolab's cleaning and sanitising solutions to existing and new customers within the dairy, brewing, beverage, protein and food processing industries. This position offers variety, scope and development potential while working alongside well-known and trusted brands. Critical to the role will be your energy and ability to engage stakeholders, and look for opportunities to drive growth for Ecolab’s products, through high quality service.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Delivering service excellence to our customers.
- Improving efficiencies for customers through Ecolab value-add programs
- Carrying out simple product (chemical) testing, equipment checks and repairs in the field.
- Conducting customer training sessions to ensure our products and equipment are being used effectively, efficiently, and safely
- Liaising with customers and internal departments to arrange pricing and invoicing, delivery, special instructions, and any other issues to facilitate sales.
- Growing the territory through sales of the company’s products and services.
- Providing customer service reports as required.

**To be successful in this role you will ideally have**:

- The ability to build strong working relationships at all business levels.
- Good technical reasoning skills.
- A passion for the challenges of problem-solving and being able to work an issue through to resolution, and the ability to think outside the square.
- The ability to understand the technical, and engineering concepts of both our customers’ and Ecolab’s businesses.
- A tertiary qualification in science, food science or relevant food/beverage processing experience such as dairy, meat, poultry, bottling or brewing.
- An ability to identify new opportunities and sell add-on solutions for customers to grow business and achieve win/win outcomes.
- Excellent presentation, communication and relationship management skills.
- A valid driver’s license is a pre-requisite

This role may require some travel including overnight stays.
