The Electoral Commission (ECE) have a Permanent Position available for a Senior Enrolment Officer. You will be part of a great, supportive and fun team that is dedicated to building a highly skilled and experienced workforce that is responsive to changing voter needs.
This position will report to and support the Team Leader, Processing to deliver core enrolment processing functions.

- Proficient IT and software skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly and juggle multiple priorities with confidence
- Excellent attention to detail and affinity for finance and numbers
- Service oriented team player who is highly organised
- The ability to uphold a proactive, approachable and professional approach when working with internal stakeholders and colleagues

What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
- Provide high quality advice, research, and analysis on the activities of the Processing team
- Work with processing staff to provide on the spot advice/coaching on their core roles
- Identify opportunities of improvement for the Processing Teams internal procedures/guidelines
- Participate to the development of local, regional, and national operational strategies
- Provide project support to project teams when required

What you'll need to succeed | Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitū
- 3+ years' experience in an enrolment processing or other registration processing environment (desirable).
- Experience in an office management or customer service environment.
- Experience in the delivery of operational policies and procedures based on legislation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to take initiative combined with sound judgement.
- Professional and results-oriented approach with good business and customer focus.
- Basic understanding of kaupapa and tikanga Māori and Pacific protocol relevant to the role.
- Have a basic level of proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Applications including Teams, Word, Excel and databases.
