Ngā tūnga | The role

This role is permanent based in Christchurch. Reporting to the Manager - Financial Insights, the Senior Statistical & Data Technician plays a critical role in preparing data for analysis in New Zealand's most comprehensive financial collection, the Annual Enterprise Survey.

**In this role you will**:

- Be responsible for loading, cleaning, editing and preparing financial data for analysis.
- Work collaboratively with analysts in the Financial Insights team and wider National Accounts unit.
- Communicate effectively with the Financial Insights team and other technical teams
- Bring a high level of organisational skills, ability to follow processes and carry out repetitive tasks with a high attention to detail and problem solve issues as they arise.
- Work well under pressure and to deadlines.
- Assist with data outputs and the annual release.
