**The opportunity**:
This is a rare opportunity for a qualified, or near qualified, Librarian with library experience to work in a specialist role managing the acquisition of our extensive serials collections.

This is a specialist role working closely with colleagues and suppliers to ensure our print and e
- serials collections are current and accessible to our customers. As serials are a rapidly changing collection the position holder needs to remain alert to such change, and swiftly adjust orders and records as required.

You will need to be comfortable with technology and numbers, as well as able to keep focused while undertaking routine tasks. This role would appeal to a well organised, detail-oriented person who enjoys problem solving.

**About you**:

- High level of collaboration and communication skills
- Confident solving problems and making effective decisions
- Good technical skills especially with Excel and supplier databases
- Self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail

You’ll thrive in this busy team responsible for undertaking a range of activities required for accurate and timely receipting, processing, and data entry. You will happily collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to ensure our serials collections meet our customers’ expectations.
