**About the role | Ko te mahi nei**

We’re looking for a Sports Turf Supervisor to lead part of our Citywide Sports Turf Team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality sports turf maintenance across community parks, ensuring our fields are safe, functional, and a source of pride for our residents.

This hands-on leadership role involves:

- Supervising a multidisciplinary team
- Coordinating mowing, line marking, renovations, and integrated turf management
- Engaging with community groups and park users
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Supporting other parks maintenance activities as needed

**About you | Ko Koe Tēnei**

You’re a people person with a passion for parks and sport, and a strong background in sports turf management. You bring:

- At least 5 years’ experience in parks or turf maintenance, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- A minimum Level 4 National Certificate in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent)
- A full driver’s licence
- Experience with mowers, tractors, spraying, fertilising, aeration, and line marking
- Grow Safe qualification and/or Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsements (desirable)
- A collaborative, respectful approach to working with diverse communities
