Christchurch is getting ready to open a state-of-the-art, multi-use stadium - and we're looking for the right highly skilled turf management professionals to bring it to life. This cutting-edge stadium is set to become the go-to venue for major regional, national and international sporting events and concerts, showcasing top-tier talent on a world-class stage.

**About the team | Ko te rōpū nei**
As we prepare for opening day and beyond, we're assembling a talented and passionate sports turf management team to maintain and elevate the playing surface that will host unforgettable moments. We have multiple positions available all vital to keeping the playing surface in top condition.

The team operates under a structured hierarchy to ensure the efficient planning, services, and enhancement of all turf areas within the stadium precinct and the associated dedicated turf farm.

**About the role | Ko te mahi ne**

The Sports Turf Curators are responsible for the daily maintenance and preparation of the stadium playing surface and surrounding turf areas. Their duties include mowing, line marking, irrigation, fertilisation, pest and disease management, renovation work, and match/event day set-up under the direction of senior staff.

**About you | Ko Koe Tēnei**

Your 5 years' experience in turf preparation and grounds maintenance will well equip you for this role. You'll love working in a team environment, with initiative and drive to demonstrate excellence in turf management. This is a chance to work as an important member of a dedicated and passionate team, in a supportive environment while furthering your turf career in a location that will utilise and enhance all your skill.

You'll Also Bring:

- A relevant Trade qualification (Level 4 Sports Turf Management), or practical experience equivalent in similar role
- A full driver's licence
- Grow safe certification
- Current Workplace First Aid Certificate
- Minimum 5 years relevant stadium or sports field experience at domestic, national and international level
- Ability to work across a 7-day roster.

If you hold a full, clean driver's license and want the chance to be a part of our philosophy to provide, protect and enhance open space environments and sporting facilities then we can't wait to hear from you.

Due to the nature of operations at a high-performance, multi-use venue, the Te Kaha Turf Management Team will operate on a flexible, 7-day roster. Team members will be required to work some weekends, public holidays, and outside standard business hours as required, to support events at the venue. Rosters will be planned in advance and include fair and equitable distribution of hours.

This flexible approach ensures the playing surface and surrounding turf areas are maintained to the highest standards before, during, and after all scheduled events.
