The Parks Sports Turf Team are responsible for the development and maintenance of Sports Turf at Hagley Park, including Hagley Oval.

The Team Leader, Sports Turf provides leadership and day to day management of this small, dedicated team. As an individual with demonstrated leadership potential and extensive experience in Sports Turf Operations, in addition to leading your team, you will effectively and efficiently programme sports turf maintenance activities, have oversight of and contribute to, renovation programmes and manage the preparation of sports fields for events.

We are looking for a passionate individual who will inspire their team to ensure our Sports Turf meets the diverse needs of the community we serve. You will promote a culture of continuous improvement; influencing change and encouraging your team to identify and develop ways to do things better.
