**The opportunity**:

Due to the rapid growth of our operations, an opportunity exists to join the sales team as a Key Account Manager, looking after some of our biggest retail customers across New Zealand.
Supporting the Sales Manager in identifying, implementing, and achieving the financial and strategic goals of Pacificomm.
In this role you will be primarily responsible for the key accounts with end-to-end account management activities including developing relationships, achievement of sales and strategic brand marketing objectives.
**Some of the key responsibilities include**:
- Meet and exceed the unit volume, sales and gross margin sales targets.
- Review and improve processes and procedures to improve profitability.
- Identify sales and business opportunities in the market and implement appropriate strategies or tactics to maximise these opportunities.
- Forecasts sales targets and provide written reports for the Sales Manager as required.
- Managing the sell-through of these products by creating and implementing marketing programs with brand managers and the customers.
- Relationship management with all assigned customers. Develop and foster relationships with key personnel at all levels and functions within assigned accounts to understand business needs and requirements and identify opportunities and risks.
- Manage the launch process for all new products with assigned accounts. Ensure proper cross-functional coordination of activities between purchasing, logistics and marketing in order to meet customer launch requirements.
- Participate in supplier meetings to plan sell-in and sell-through strategy for assigned accounts, understand supplier portfolio, and plan new product launches.
- Assist in developing new solutions for assigned customers that leverage the Pacificomm capabilities and service portfolio and that grow market share, revenue, and margin.
- Identify new opportunities outside assigned accounts to generate incremental business as part of the proactive approach.
**We are ideally looking for someone who has**:
- Ability to demonstrate through career experience a track record of success in delivery of new product initiatives to either consumer or business markets.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of product life cycle management through the entire supply chain.
- Ideally you will have experience in a similar role in the consumer electronics or tech sector.
- Proven experience developing high level customer relationships.
- Ability to influence and persuade stake holders and customers to create outcomes that maximise performance outcomes within their business unit.

- This is a fast paced role so we need someone who can operate in a proactive and consultative manner as well as having good time management and planning skills.
- You must be computer and Microsoft Office literate.
