Exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded company who is a leader in the manufacturing industry. Based in Ellerslie, we are looking for an experienced Treasury Analyst (Cash Management) to join this high performing team, where you will be provided with excellent training and support.

**About the role - Atu mo te mahi**
Reporting into the Financial Services Manager, you'll have demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment, having strong thorough knowledge of both domestic and international bank settlement practices and a detailed understanding of the market conventions and settlement characteristics of foreign exchange. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required, in addition to pursuing continuous improvement in operational settlement practices providing the highest quality service to our customers.

**Key tasks and accountabilities (not limited to)**:

- Confirm/settle all Foreign Exchange Contracts & Money Market Transactions
- Management of payroll transactional data/ Automatic Payments/Direct Debits
- Pro-active monitoring, analysis, and delivery of accurate Daily Cash Forecasts
- Manage and reconcile all Bank Accounts and General Ledger Accounts daily
- Manage critical issues directly and with confidence
- Prepare Reuters FX rates Daily
- Manage and maintain multiple Electronic Banking Systems
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports
- Cash settlements in NZD and foreign currencies
- Automatic Payments/Direct Debits
- Liaising with the Treasury team and wider finance team

**About you - Pehea koe**
- 2+ years’ proven experience in an accounting/transactional/treasury role
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles
- Experience in cash management analysis
- Strong working knowledge/understanding of SAP
- Understands Foreign Exchange Rates and calculations
- Methodical worker and calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and to meet time critical deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work co-operatively and effectively as part of a team/autonomously
- Relevant tertiary degree/studying towards your CA or partly qualified would be advantageous
