The **Budget** team has the primary responsibility for coordinating the Budget process, including working closely with the Minister of Finance and her office. The Budget team supports the Government and the wider public service by leading each phase of the annual Budget process, including Budget strategy, design, ministerial decision-making and production.

**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role**

We have some exciting opportunities in our Budget team for Analysts and Senior Analysts to join us on a fixed-term or secondment basis until June 2025 to support the delivery of priority areas at Budget 2025.

These roles will be based in the Budget team, but with the expectation that they would also provide support to other parts of the Treasury working on priority projects for the Budget.

Roles in the Budget are high-profile and provide plenty of opportunities for personal growth and stretch. As well as having responsibility for delivering specific outputs, you'll be part of a close-knit team working together on one of the Treasury's key products.

Appointing salary for this role will be between:
Analysts: $90,041 and $105,930 per annum, based on skills and experience

Senior Analysts: $126,612 and $148,955 per annum, based on skills and experience
