**About** **Us** Jai Ambe Enterprise Limited We are looking for a Retail Supervisor to join our busy store Harris Road Superette & Lotto in Auckland. This business is open 7 days a week and the role requires working a variable roster from 6.30am-8.30pm and weekend work.

**About** **the** **role** This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, and friendly team where excellence, success and people are valued and rewarded. The job involves having the capability to work with and lead a diverse, small team on a variety of tasks throughout the day. You will use your management skills and retail experience to support the Store Manager/Owner in monitoring the operations and processes of the outlet. This is largely a people and sales focussed role whilst managing all operational elements of the store to ensure best practise.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards (but not limited to):

- Supervise daily operations, ensuring that the team delivers an exceptional level of customer service throughout the shift.
- Assist the Store Manager with inventory purchasing and maintain stock levels, adhering to budget requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales transactions, and financial operations during your shift.
- Proactively engage with customers, gather feedback and address any questions, concerns or complaints to ensure their satisfaction.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and overseeing the performance of staff members to ensure they meet service standards.
- Help implement and monitor company policies, procedures and store operations to ensure consistency and quality.
- Create staff schedules that optimise coverage while maintaining high levels of service.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly followed to create a safe working environment for staff and customers alike.

**Qualification,** **Experience** **and** **Attributes** **Required**
- A relevant level 5 or higher qualification or 4-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of sales and customer service principles.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- A pre-employment drug test is required.

**Pay** **&**Benefits*
- Full time permanent employment.
- Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.
- Pate rate ranges between $29.66-$31/hour.
- Great opportunity for growth.
- Immediate start.
