Our Caltex service station in Waimauku is presently looking for staff.
This station requires Sales Assistants for night shift to join the team. Our business is
open 7 days a week and the role requires working a variable roster, including weekend
work.

About the Role
- This is an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, and friendly retail team where
excellence, success and people are valued and rewarded. You will be responsible for
performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Engage with customers, asks questions and drive sales.
- Support the Store Manager with an array of operational tasks and projects, including stock
- ordering, stock takesbanking, cash handling, merchandising and much more.
Restocking depleted or low store items.
- Attending to customers who require assistance at the pumps.
- Labelling goods and ensuring the correct price is displayed.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards according toestablishguidelines.
- Assisting the service delivery team with orders.
- Opening and closing of premises and associated security.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Performing end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, mirrors, andfixtuas well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor.
- Processing customer payments using the store's Point of Sale (POS) system.
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.
- Any other duties as required to ensure the effective operation of the store
- Qualification, Experience and Personal Attributes Required
Friendly, passionate, people-person;
- Customer facing experience preferable
- not mandatory.
- Great communication skills.
- A positive attitude with the ability to problem solve.
- The ability to remain calm and coureteous under pressure.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and always putting the
customer first.
- A passion for sales and prior sales experience in a similar environment is an
added advantage.
- Ability to lift weight upto 10 kg and work on weekends

Pay & Benefits
Hourly rate starts ranges between $28 and $30 for r full-time, permanent roles with
a minimum of 35 hours guaranteed.
