We're looking for an Academic Staff Member who will take on the responsibility of Degree Lead Māori, to join our Bachelor of Social Work team on a permanent basis. - Taking leadership in programme development, changes and evaluation, ensuring programmes honour Māori ways of learning and empower ākonga Māori to engage and achieve academic success.

We're looking for someone who has:
- A demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi, confident in the use of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga, and competent in facilitating in Māori spaces of engagement
- A relevant degree at Masters level or higher in social work or a social work Bachelor degree with demonstrable, relevant and suitable professional experience
- A current Practicing Certificate issued by the Social Workers Registration Board
- A commitment to equity, equal employment and educational opportunities.
