Te Whatu Ora is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated, multi-skilled Public Health Advisor to be part of our Healthy Communities team. Te Whatu Ora has an equity focus working in partnership with communities to identify and address their specific health priorities. Our work is all about relationship and connections, and our team is a great team with a broad focus including; physical, nutritional, and mental wellbeing. We deliver a range of health promotion approaches to support positive changes where people live, learn, work and play. We are committed to improving Māori and Pasifika health outcomes and achieving health equity for Māori through Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations. It is essential you demonstrate an awareness of Māori indigenous rights and current issues in relation to health and health equity We are committed to helping you grow as a leader in public health where you will work to make a real difference.

Moū ' About you
You will have knowledge of delivering, facilitating or coordinating health promotion programmes, campaigns and projects. The portfolio you will be responsible for will be sexual health. The ability to establish and maintain effective intersectoral, operational and community relationships as required. Knowledge of key frameworks and practices and the wider determinants of health. A bachelor's degree and or relevant Public Health Experience
