We are needing an **Defect Team Leader **to join our Auckland team

As our **Defect Team Leader **, you will be responsible for:

- Selling services and products required for the repair of system defects at existing customer premises, in order to meet facilitate the repair of customer’s equipment and ensuring the inspectors are able to report these defects
- Providing support and leadership to members of the Defects team and allowing the business to meet its financial targets and goals

**How you will do it**:

- Be a champion, within Wormald and Tyco NZ, for the Central Defecting team and its processes
- Work with the Central Defecting team and the Service Centre Manager to provide a high level of service to Wormald’s customers. Maximise the sales outcomes arising from reported defects.
- Manage customer complaints and escalations arising from the activities of the Central Defecting team, retaining the sale where possible
- Monitor team member’s activities to ensure they are consistent with desired business outcomes and agreed processes. In particular ensure that sales and margin targets are consistently attained. Instigate actions to address any issues detected.

**Who are we looking for?**
- At least 5 years experience in the building services industry
- Technical aptitude
- Experience in fire systems is preferred but not required
- Administrative work experience
- Working knowledge of Pronto and Salesforce preferred
