**The Company**
Ravensdown is a farmer owned co-operative within the agricultural sector which exists to help farmers optimise soil fertility and productivity, to run their businesses in a profitable and sustainable way, with a focus on lowering environmental impact.
More recently, Ravensdown have been redesigning their organisational structure to set themselves up to deliver their strategy, and now have a number of exciting new opportunities to bring to market.
**The People & Safety Team**
Led by the Chief People & Safety Officer, the team have an overriding objective to provide **value back to the business** by ensuring Ravensdown has the right capability, laser-focused on striving towards delivery of the organisational strategy and building a culture of performance and innovation. The People part of the team supports and drives change from multiple perspectives, from the right organisation design to the development of initiatives to drive engagement and performance, through to the use of data and insights to support leaders with their decision making.
As part of Ravensdown’s redesign, the People team will develop self-service options for the business to lift the focus of their HR Services Team and create space for HR Business Partners to become more strategic and future focused. They will support the design of the organisation and help build a safe and high-performing culture by partnering to implement the strategic change and people initiatives/projects for business portfolios that the Change & Organisation Development (OD) team design in collaboration.
**The Role**
A dedicated organisation development function, led by the Head of Change and OD is pivotal to ensuring they have the right balance between provision of exceptional HR services to the business alongside a strategic focus on initiatives to build and execute a high-performing culture.
The role is responsible for driving organisation transformation from an efficiency, productivity, and performance perspective, through the design and development of strategic people programmes, frameworks, tools, and initiatives. Working closely with senior leaders, executives, and key stakeholders, the Head of Change & OD will help shape and develop Ravensdown’s organisation and workforce strategy.
The role is supported by a Senior OD Advisor.
**The Ideal Person**
You will establish and lead a Centre of Excellence for best practice change management and organisation development.
A critical thinker, you will have a keen desire to understand the business and ensure employees benefit from a well thought out and well executed employee life cycle. You will be passionate about positive leadership and building a high-performance culture where the right people are selected and supported to do their best.
With a thorough understanding of conceptual theory and how to it practically, you will be experienced in developing projects and workshops, creating buy-in, and building engagement. You will have strong leadership and advocacy skills, able to bed-in change with a range of stakeholders and provide coaching and support to your peers and managers when needed.
You will also have:
- a relevant tertiary qualification, with a minimum of five years’ professional experience delivering complex, cross functional organisation development initiatives at a senior level
- sophisticated influencing, coaching, collaboration, change leadership and relationship management skills
- high levels of initiative, critical thinking, and drive
- a practical knowledge of project management methodology, approaches, and tools.
