**Mo te tunga | About the role**
The Systems team manage and maintain the New Zealand Codification system that supports ongoing logistics functions within NZDF and ensures logistics master data is accurate and kept current.
As a Corporate Systems Administrator within the team you will be responsible for:
- Day to day maintenance of the NZNCB codification tool and production database;
- Preparing and processing error reports of the N-CORE software system;
- Monitoring and maintaining the N-CORE and SAP databases;
- Maintaining relationships with manufacturers and vendors / liaising with software providers regularly;
- Hosting the software and troubleshooting issues that arise.
This role is based in Trentham. Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, flexible working arrangements can be discussed.

You don't necessarily need to be an expert to be considered for this role as the software we use is very specialised. A solid background in general IT roles, along with a firm understanding of the MS Suite, MS Access and database management is ideal.
We are looking for you to demonstrate that you have:
- Experience in data entry to a mainframe based information system;
- Strong analytical skills and experience in researching /validating data;
- Good relationship management and communication skills;
- The ability to influence and provide good advice so you can become a trusted partner;
- Be comfortable with repetitive tasks and demonstrate a high level of accuracy; and
- Demonstrate initiative and manage your workflow effectively.

- At minimum, you **must** hold New Zealand Permanent Residence **or** have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa, **and** you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last ten (10) years.
- You **must** have a ten (10) year background history that can be verified and assessed appropriately by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to determine if you are suitable for a security clearance at this level.
