**Ko wai mātou? | Who are we?**
As the specialist nursing division of Access Community Health (Hauora-Tara-Ā-Whare), we are leading providers of specialist nursing services in Christchurch. We provide assessment and care of acute, chronic and complex wounds via Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ), Whaikaha (Ministry of Disabled People) and ACC contracts, utilising products that are at the leading edge of the wound management process.
**He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga | About the role**
You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with specialist wound care skills, IV and Urinary Catheter Management skills. No day will be the same, visiting clients at their home, workplace, or place of study.
Our community nursing services operate seven days a week. We have a range of positions available from casual, full, or part time (0.6 FTE - 1.0 FTE) working rostered days including weekends and public holidays.
If you have previous clinical experience in surgical or wound care, or as an ACC or district nurse, we would love to hear from you We provide ongoing in-service education on a regular basis.

**Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi | About this position and the requirements**
- A qualified nurse with a current NZ practicing certificate and a right to work in NZ
- A demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the workplace
- Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills
- Hold a current, clean full drivers' licence
- Intermediate level computer and on-line information recording skills
- Up for a challenge in a field of nursing that is exciting, varied and evolving
- Team player, comfortable in making autonomous decisions with support
- Self-directed ability to plan and organise assignments effectively, to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding, client focused environment
**Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga | Desired skills and experience**
- Previous ACC, DN, surgical or wound experience beneficial but not essential
- Wound care and surgical experience
- Able to utilise your communication skills across Multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to connect and interact within a multi-cultural environment.
- Team player, someone who can build professional relationships in the community
- Actively demonstrates the ability and desire to show cultural sensitivity, awareness and understanding of diversity
