Location: Radius Millstream, 20 Hanrahan Street, Allenton, Ashburton 7700

Hours of work: Part-time, 20 hours per week, over a rotating roster

Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for part-time HCAs.

Pay rate: Subject to completed recognized caregiving qualifications

About the role:

Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.

Duties include:

  • Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence
  • Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner
  • Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information
  • Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records
  • Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes

Skills and Experience:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing and experience are desirable
  • People skills + empathy for our residents and their families
