We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper specializing in compliance and finance to join our team.

As a Bookkeeper Compliance and Finance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our clients businesses. You will work closely with our clients and maintain accurate financial records, tax regulations and provide financial insights for the company.

**Location**: Auckland

**Job type **:Full time 30 hours Minimum per week

**Duration**: Permanent

**Pay Bracket**: Minimum $29.66 per hour, and the employer is willing to go up to $31.00 per hour, based on work experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Bookkeeping**: Accurately record and maintain financial transactions for clients. Prepare invoices, orders and check bank deposits / incoming payments.
- ** Compliance**: Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring all financial activities are compliant.
- ** Financial Analysis**: Generate reports to help the business make informed decisions.
- ** Payroll Services**: Manage payroll processes, including tax withholding and reporting, for business.
- ** Client Communication**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their financial concerns and providing guidance.
- ** Record Keeping**: Organize and maintain financial records, ensuring they are easily accessible and audit-ready.
- ** Reconciliation**: Reconciling accounts against monthly bank statements

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Relevant experience and qualifications preferred, but not compulsory.
- Great presentation and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Great communication skills and positive attitude
- Flexible to work some weekends and public holidays, depending on the appointments and tasks on hand.

To be considered for this role you must be in NZ, and either be an NZ resident, citizen or have the legal right to work in NZ full time.
