The Role

As a BAS Accountant, you'll manage a portfolio of clients, providing end-to-end compliance and advisory services. You'll be involved in preparing financial statements and tax returns, advising clients on cashflow and structuring, and supporting the wider team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering practical, value-added advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, GST returns, and income tax returns

  • Deliver compliance and advisory services to a range of clients

  • Support clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management

  • Maintain strong knowledge of rural tax legislation and industry-specific issues

About You

  • CA or CPA qualified (or working toward it)

  • Experience in public practice

  • Solid understanding of tax compliance, reporting, and advisory work

  • Comfortable using Xero, MYOB, and rural accounting software

  • Strong communication skills and an interest in the work
