**About the role**
The role reports to the Compliance & Trust Account Manager, within the National Accounts team, with key responsibility to assist with ensuring that Chapman Tripp continues to meet AML/CFT obligations under relevant legislation.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Assist with policies and procedures for carrying out customer due diligence, and overseeing the CDD and account monitoring undertaken
- Providing guidance on, and monitoring staff compliance with AML/CFT policies and procedures
- Assisting ongoing AML/CFT training for relevant staff
- Records management and reporting on CDD
- Producing compliance monitoring reports with appropriate recommendations Supporting and positively influencing a culture of AML/CFT compliance

**Skills, Abilities and Experience Required**:

- Understanding and experience of compliance processes, systems and policies, ideally AML/CFT compliance
- Professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
- Time-management, prioritisation and the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Attention to detail and process-orientation
- Customer-service oriented with high composure and empathy
