The Parks Unit within Christchurch City Council has a clear focus on helping Christchurch maintain the iconic Garden City image that makes it such a great place to live, work and visit. We are out there every day, ensuring our spectacular garden parks and inner city green spaces are maintained to a high standard.

**About the role | Ko te mahi nei**

You will be responsible for:

- Providing excellent customer service to support the operational delivery of a range of activities associated with neighbourhood, sports parks and cemeteries.
- Being the face of the Council parks management and performing a pivotal role in ensuring the Levels of Service provided are fit for purpose for the enjoyment and use of the parks network.
- The role will provide a key quality assurance function by conducting regular internal audit of parks maintenance activities.
