We are seeking to appoint a Manager to provide leadership and trusted advice to ensure the Commission can effectively deliver on its mission as a high performing organisation. As the overall leader of the Public Service, trust and confidence is paramount. We are committed to modelling best practice for a Public Service agency and seek someone who can not only drive organisational performance, but also help to ensure the organisation and its people are safe, secure and accountable.
This role reports to the Deputy Commissioner, Organisational Capability and Performance. The Manager will maintain a strategic work programme that enhances organisational performance, now and into the future. They will manage a small team which delivers on a diverse portfolio of functions including planning and performance reporting, risk and assurance, health and safety, protective security and business continuity. They will also ensure we are able to meet all statutory reporting and accountability requirements, with a strong internal controls environment, education and awareness activities and fit for purpose internal policies and processes. This position usually pays between $155,960 to $204,385 depending on skills and experience.
