The Toi Hiranga | Regulation and Policy branch contributes to supporting the safety, wellbeing and success of New Zealand communities, and provides advice and support to our Ministers in Government.
We have a permanent Manager opportunity for our Accountability, Performance and Assurance team. This is a role where you'll get to work simultaneously in the strategic and operational space. You'll be leading a high performing team to build on the performance and reputation of the branch, working closely with the branch's leadership team.
We are looking for a people leader with strong knowledge of the machinery of government and public service administration, good understanding of our Te Tiriti obligations, and an great eye for detail. We need someone with excellent relationship skills who builds strong networks and who is continuously looking for effective and innovative ways of working to get great outcomes for the branch.
You will be working within a newly established group - Strategy and Branch Services - and joining a collaborative leadership team that builds a strong and positive culture across our group and drives innovation.
