Your role will be to provide Xeros with the insights required for them to make evidence-based decisions. Success in this role will be shaped by your ability to present insights in an engaging way to a broad set of stakeholders, so that the insights inspire action. The Senior Insights Consultant - pricing and packaging, is a newly created role at Xero as we seek to strengthen our packaging and pricing capability. Reporting to the Market Insights Director, you will lead the day-to-day global execution of our Packaging and Pricing research. You will work closely with the Revenue Operations team, regional Go-to-Market teams and product commercial roles.

The Customer & Market Insight team informs Xero’s strategic agenda, identifying new opportunities and refining how we look at existing opportunities. Their ultimate goal is to improve customer experience during the span of their lifetime with Xero. Their purpose is to help all Xero’s feel more connected with our customers. This role is vital in helping Xero maximize revenue and capture the total addressable market.

This role is an initial 12 month fixed-term contract located in Auckland or Wellington.

**What you'll do**:

- Work in a cross functional team responsible for Xero’s pricing and packaging, with this role vital in helping Xero maximize revenue and capture the total addressable market.
- You will leverage Qualtrics (survey platform) to manage end to end research focused on the pricing and packaging of our products to help get more small businesses running more efficiently on our platform.
- Provide Xeros with the insights required for them to make evidence-based decisions
- Leverage our understanding of different segments to drive segment appropriate pricing and packaging constructs.
- Lead the testing of products and go to market propositions.
- Explore and analyze different datasets at Xero, alongside data derived from our research program
- Collaborate with the wider Customer & Market Insight team to leverage other insight knowledge.
- Identify the ‘so what’ in analyses
- ensuring each piece of work has implications and recommendations that the business can action.

**What you'll bring**:

- 5+ years of research and analytics experience - either agency or client side, preferably in a product related role
- Tertiary qualified in any of marketing, economics, psychology, social sciences, science, commerce, statistics or accounting
- Experience with conjoint and willingness to pay research methodologies - desirable Experience with any of Q or Display - desirable
- Proven ability at evaluating and prioritizing business performance and growth opportunities
- Excellent people skills with the ability to engage a broad range of people
- Excellent numeracy and writing skills, as well as high attention to detail
- Skilled in using data to incite discussion and agreement on the best course of action
- Self-motivated individual who can work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Hunger and passion to drive best practice, both delivered by agencies and within the insight process
