About the Role Wellington‑based and working in a high‑calibre team, this role focuses on delivering impactful advisory work in public sector domains. Key Responsibilities Deliver strategic advice on projects related to infrastructure, public health, and public services. Lead or support the preparation of business cases aligned with public sector frameworks. Apply BBC methodologies to drive high‑quality, compliant outcomes. Manage stakeholders and identify areas for business growth and engagement. Support junior team members through coaching and skills development. Guide or contribute to project delivery focused on investment and operational improvements. Innovate service offerings to better address evolving client needs. Build and sustain client relationships through trusted delivery and collaboration. So Who Are You? 4–6+ years of consulting or advisory experience in public or infrastructure sectors. Deep understanding of public sector processes and the Machinery of Government. Hands‑on experience with business case development and investment planning. Skilled in project and programme delivery, ideally with relevant certifications. Experience leading teams and fostering talent in consulting environments. Confident in growing client accounts and contributing to business development. Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management capabilities. Eligibility for or current NZ security clearance is a significant advantage. You’re solutions‑oriented, adaptable, and committed to making a real impact.
