**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**
Our Wesely Community Centre is a treasured community space and home to an exciting range of community programmes and events. We’re on the lookout for a charismatic Place Host, someone as lively as the city itself, to join our Mt Roskill team at Wesley Community Centre.

This is a full time, Monday to Friday role based at the Wesley Community Centre. Not only will you be supporting community connection, programming, events, exhibitions, venue hire and the activation of the Centre, you will also be interacting with different staff and stakeholders.

You will provide exceptional customer service welcoming every visitor, sharing information and assistance to our community and programme partners as well as ensuring our venues are safe, functional, and welcoming places for all every day.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds - you thrive when working with a diverse community, not afraid to strike up a conversation.
- Comfortable with technology and able to support customers to successfully use information resources and devices.
- Flexibility and collaboration across all aspects of your mahi
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Ao Māori and a willingness to learn.
- Proactive, curious and ready for adventure.
