Our Central Library is a treasured community space and home to an exciting range of community programmes and events. The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional customer service and ensure our venues are safe, functional and welcoming places. We offer programmed and community-led activities as well as venue for hire spaces.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our passionate and friendly team.

You day to day, your responsibilities will be to:

- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure venues are safe,

functional and welcoming places
- Welcome every visitor and provide information and assistance

to ensure the visitor experience is rewarding and enjoyable, enhancing

their knowledge and understanding of the Auckland Council services.
- Support the operational management and performance of community facilities.

- You are committed to service excellence and have a flexible approach
- Receptive to working in an agile and collaborative team environment
- Have a passion for communities and empathy for people from diverse social and

cultural backgrounds including the vulnerable
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of Te Ao Māori values and principles
- Have basic knowledge of facility function and service.
