We are currently recruiting for a Risk Analyst to join us and hit the ground running.

Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager within Partnership Insurance, the key purpose of this role is to complete adviser and selling Quality Assurance; provide insightful analysis on adviser behaviour, selling techniques and advice processes; provide the Partnership Insurance leadership with rich analysis allowing for informed decision making to occur; and manage and continually develop of AIA’s adviser fraud framework.

Working closely with other risk practitioners within Partnership Insurance to continuously improve risk and compliance frameworks, complaints and investigation management and processes, keeping pace with key environmental changes and expectations.

About the role:
Risk Management- Assist on monthly adviser fraud monitoring activities.- Monitor advisers on the investigation register and manage investigations when required.- When requested complete deep dives into advisers, general selling techniques, advice processes, policies, and operating effectiveness of controls.- Complete ad-hoc call monitoring/ QA monitoring activities when required.- Analyse the results gathered and communicate this to the relevant team manager. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations supported with analysis on changes proposed- Assess and support operational continuous process improvement- Work closely with other internal stakeholders as required; assist in Audit & Assurance reviews- Support the Partnership Insurance Risk Team in completing Line 1 risk duties as required including the performance of controls and the maintenance of issues and incidents- Support Partnership Insurance Risk Manager to ensure Partnership Insurance is compliant with Group Model policy and assist team’s complete validations as required- Contribute to projects as required

Insightful reporting: Analysis and interpretation- Provide factually sound information to Partnership Insurance’s Risk Manager/s through routine reporting and ad-hoc analysis so they can start investigating advisers and remediating processes/controls.- Provide Partnership Insurance, particularly the Risk team, with and factual analysis to interpret and remediate concerns as they arise.- Where directed, assist the Partnership Insurance Risk Team in testing the operating effectiveness of controls and remediating issues/incidents.- Provide Partnership Insurance leadership with reporting and adviser dashboards.- Completing monitoring is an efficient, timely and effective manner.- Assist Partnership Insurance Risk and Supervision in collating timely and meaningful risk reporting for the relevant forums including assessment of mitigation strategies for divisional risks & development of appropriate Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s).

AIA’s adviser conduct framework- Assist in completing monthly dashboards on FAP advisers to identify key trends.- Provide data support to supervision team to assist moderation, remediation and complaints and other reporting.- Assist in the development of adviser detective and corrective fraud framework.- Through data analysis and interpretation, influence other divisions in adopting processes and controls to assist in managing the adviser fraud framework.- Manage adviser watch-lists.- Assist in the preparation of cases for ACC.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.- Superior relationship management experience, with a proven ability to develop deep relationships at all levels internally and externally.- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate to find solutions that meet business needs.- Ability to interpret and analysis data without compromising its underlying integrity.- Ability to problem solve; especially around data analysis and interpretation- Understanding of risk principles- Understanding of finance or insurance industry products and practices is- highly desirable- Advanced level of MS Excel and Visio- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure when leading a number of assigned initiatives- Ability to work both independently, multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
