**About the Role**

**Support tamariki to move, play, and grow healthier — together**.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and community-minded Allied Health Assistant to join our Bodywise programme, supporting families across the Waikato region.

Bodywise is a family-focused, community-based programme for children aged 5-12 years who have been identified as having an unhealthy weight. Our small, passionate team takes a whānau-centred approach, working with parents, caregivers, extended whānau, and tamariki to empower families to make positive, sustainable lifestyle changes together.

In this role, you will work directly with tamariki and their families, promoting the importance and enjoyment of physical activity. You will educate and demonstrate fun, accessible ways for children to be active, with the goal of building confidence, improving health, and fostering a lifelong love of movement.

This is the kind of role where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference, and are able to make the job your own as you will be the key team member responsible for supporting whānau with their physical activity in this team.
