We are looking for a Advisor, Governance to support the Te Ao Mārama programme. This is a full time, fixed term role for 30 months._**

**Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity**

We are currently establishing the Te Ao Mārama programme team, a multi-disciplinary roopu to enable the design, development and delivery of the programme. You will be working closely with supporting teams across the Ministry of Justice and Justice Sector.

We are looking for someone who works well in a busy team environment and has good attention to detail. This an excellent role for someone wanting to gain insight on large transformational change programmes operate at a strategic and operational level.

As our Advisor Governance you will be a key member of the team providing coordination and administrative support to programme team in delivering the Te Ao Mārama Programme. You will engage across the organisation at a senior level and have a real opportunity to develop your understanding of both the Ministry's and judiciary's governance environments.

Your work week will be structured to meet governance timeframes and require a collaborative approach to work in partnership with the Programme team and wider Ministry. Your day might include scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, distributing materials and meeting packages, supporting the running of governance committee meetings and inbox and diary management.

**Education/Professional Qualifications and Technical Skills**
- A tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.

**Experience**
- Some experience providing secretariat services and advice to committees, boards, project teams and other similar groups
- Ability to write to a high standard, appropriate to the audience, including proof reading with a high level of accuracy.
- High level of integrity, professionalism and discretion.
- Highly organised, with the ability manage multiple items while maintaining high level of attention to detail.
- Analytical skills with the ability to make sounds and respected decisions.
- Ability to effectively manage or escalate issues.
- Communicating with a wide range of audiences on complex issues.
- Working in a high-paced environment where you are required to respond to changing needs and priorities.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $59,066 and $83,387 based on skills and experience.
