Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
The purpose of the Engagement Advisor position within the FFBW team is to maximise the effectiveness of the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) and the FFBW team, through effective relationships internally and externally, as well as insure a high functioning office. This is done by providing support to the CTO and the direct reports to the CTO to enable the effective use of time, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and meet key reporting requirements across the Office.
The role will also assist the CTO to drive engagement for the Fit for a Better World vision across MPI, other government agencies, and the wider food & fibre sector. The Engagement Advisor will also be required to support and facilitate presentations by the CTO and FFBW team, and provide secretariat services for the Food & Fibre Partnership Group.

- Strong communication skills, adaptable to a variety of audiences
- Advanced relationship management skills all levels of the organisation, internal and external stakeholders, Maori and Government agencies;
- Knowledge of and experience in management support, administration and reporting processes;
- Experience in problem solving using sound judgement to make decisions
- Proficient in managing conflicting priorities ensuring key projects meet deadlines;
